Apple Blush Pie

- 1 double crust pie crust, uncooked
- 5 large apples
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1⁄4 cup cinnamon, drops (candy)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
directions
- Prepare pie dough or use store bought.
- Line a pie plate with the botton crust .
- Peel and slice the apples and place in a large bowl.
- Add pineapple, cinnamon candies, lemon juice, sugar, flour, and salt.
- Mix well .
- Pour into pie shell and dot with butter.
- Roll out top crust and place on top.
- Pinch edges well and cut a few slits of the top to vent steam.
- Place on a baking sheet to catch drips.
- Bake at 350 for approx 45 minutes or until apples seem tender when a knife is inserted thru a vent hole.

DEEEELISH! I am not generally a pie gal, I like cake, cookies, fudge ;)...except blueberry pie, I looove blueberries. Anyways my mom (wickedcook) has always made good apple pie, but now that she makes this, I am an apple pie fan! This pie is super addicting, perfectly sweet, and awesome warm, room temperature, or chilled. highly recommend this recipe!
