  1. Thumbs up, fantastic!

  2. These are really yummy Kittycat. I love the addition of the flax and especially the cinnamon. They smell fabulous. I do have to agree with the previous reviewers in the amount of pancakes this recipe is suppose to make. I halved the recipe and got 5 pancakes using a 1/4 cup measurer. No worries though as they do make a thick and filling panny. Thanks!!! Made for 123Hits~

  3. These are quite tasty! I, too, appreciate a new way to get in flaxseed (not ANOTHER bowl of oatmeal lol) that feels like a real treat. I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 AP flour, Smart Balance, and skim milk as it is what I keep around. The only reason these don't get 5 stars is, like DuChick, I got way fewer pancakes than posted here--14, I think? I used a 1/4 c measuring cup to spoon out the batter. Thanks for posting; I'm sure I'll make these again. Made for 123 Hits.

  4. Perfect pancakes! These were light and fluffy and had a delicate apple flavor. I used a whole Braeburn apple for shredding, skim milk and Smart Balance margaine rather than butter. A bit labor intensive for a busy weekday, but I enjoyed the kitchen time on a lazy Saturday morning. Next time, I'll try subbing 1/2 of the white flour with whole wheat flour. I had 15 large pancakes (enough for freezing!). Thanks kittycatmom! MERP'd for Potluck Tag.
