ingredients

• 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups water
• 3 egg whites
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• whipped cream

directions

1. Cook flour, sugar, salt, and boiling water thoroughly. Pour over beaten whites. Chill and serve with whipped cream.
