- 1 lb lasagna noodle
- 1 (125 g) jar pasta sauce, meat flavored
- 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 cups parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 (16 ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
directions
- Cook noodles according to package directions, drain.
- Brown ground beef,drain. Pour meat back into skillet, add pasta sauce and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
- In bowl mix ricotta cheese,handful of mozzarella cheese, handful of Parmesan cheese, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- In 9x13 baking dish place enough of the sauce to cover the bottom of pan. Add a layer of noodles, add ricotta mixture and spread evenly over noodles. Add another layer of noodles then cover with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle remain cheese over top.
- Place in 350 degree oven and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.
