Agave Nectar Margarita

"The BEST EVER and so fresh!! You can find agave nectar where honey is found in the grocery store, but most likely in a Whole Foods or Central Market or any specialty grocery store in your area."

  1. I'd better be careful about things of this nature coming from my kitchen. It may not look good on the nightly news.

  2. Left out the "splash" of juice, but it was awesome! It tasted like the Nekked Margaritas sold at this local bar for $10 a glass! =) I can't wait to make these for Cinco de Mayo!

  3. This recipe was perfect! So refreshing. The fresh squeezed juices make all the difference in the world. I finally found the Agave Nectar at Whole Foods. In the event you cannot find the Agave, I feel that simple syrup (made with sugar and water) would absolutely work with this, but i have to say, Agave Nectar is so versatile in so many things, it was worth the hike to Whole Foods. Definitely try it!

  4. This makes an excellent Margarita! Great balance of tart and sweet! Love the agave nectar in here. It dissolves really nicely too! I do recommend lots of crushed ice with this because the ice melts just right and dilutes the ingredients perfectly. *Made for My 3 Chefs*

  5. Love this easy margarita with my fave tequila, Azuñia! The organic blanco is amazing, but with the splash of clementine juice, I especially love it with their reposado. I'll be drinking these all summer long!

Although hardly your traditional southern girl, I come from a huge southern family and have been cooking since I was eight years old. Cooking is more then a hobby, I genuinely get so much pleasure from cooking and providing the people I love with great food. I have to attest, that it truly IS the way to a man's heart! In my opinion, there is nothing more admirable to hold then the truest essence of a homemaker, or as the term is coined today "household engineer"! I am a licensed real estate agent working full-time from home and a soccer mom to my 9 year old son. I am a busy bee but somehow find time to indulge in some of my many passions: dancing, photography, sewing and interior design. Finding that perfect balance is what I strive to do everyday and so far so good.
