This is a very refreshing salad during hot summer, specially in hot areas...


  1. In a bowl, cut the cucumber into circles.
  2. Smash the garlic.
  3. Add the yogurt & mix well.
  4. Add salt as per your taste.
  5. Add some dried mint & mix all ingredients together.
  6. Serve cold.

I make this all the time chopping the cucumber smaller but you don't have to! I do not measure ingredients in this I just do it to taste serving as a sauce with a Middle Eastern rice dish such as recipe#387395. I use sea salt, Balkan (thick) yogurt and a garlic press to crush my garlic easily. Reviewed for Bargain Basement Tag Game - December 2010.
