Wonka's Whipple-scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight

"I haven't made this. This looks like something fun to make with your kids and mine are too old to cook with mommy! I found it in the Chicago Sun-Times and, with the movie being remade this year, thought it would be nice for those of you with young children."

• Serves: 2

ingredients

• 2 ounces dark chocolate
• 1 (1 1/2 ounce) Heath candy bars
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1⁄4 cup dark brown sugar
• 2⁄3 cup heavy cream
• 8 marshmallows
• ice cream

directions

1. Break chocolate and the Heath Bar into large chunks and set to one side.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the butter, sugar and cream; stir until all the sugar has dissolved and then turn the heat up and continue stirring for 10 minutes; be careful, the mixture gets very hot and can splatter; use a very long wooden spoon.
3. Turn the heat down again, add the marshmallows, chocolate and Heath Bar into the saucepan; stir around once and pour over your ice cream.
