I halved the recipe and made them as written. This made for a very satisfying and tasty breakfast. I had topped with sugar free syrup. They freeze and reheat very well. I will be making these again and again in the future. Made for May 2013 Aus/NZ Swap.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup wholemeal self-rising flour
  • 14 cup unprocessed natural bran
  • 14 cup raw sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 34 cup milk

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Process till smooth.
  3. Heat frypan to moderately high.
  4. Grease lightly.
  5. Drop dessertspoons of batter into pan.
  6. Allow room fror spreading and turning.
  7. Cook till bubbles appear on top.
  8. Turn and cook other side till golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with butter.
