This is an unusual drink from the Young Times magazine. It was submitted by Fatima Siddiqui of Pakistan. I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup chopped watermelon
  • 4 tablespoons Mountain Dew soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • crushed ice, as required

Directions

  1. Blend everything, except the crushed ice, in a blender.
  2. Pour it into a jug.
  3. Top it with crushed ice.
  4. Serve at once.
  5. Chill out baby!
  6. Note: You can try substituting the Mountain dew with your favourite fizzy drink such as Dr.
  7. Pepper or Coco Cola, etc.

WAY too much lime juice for me. I used frozen watermelon and 1 lime (which wasn't even 4 full tablespoons I don't believe). ALL I could taste was the lime. I added a bunch of extra diet mountain dew which made it drinkable, but certainly not something I enjoyed. I'm so sorry. It just did not work out for me.

Classique...this thing got a thumbs up from my hubby...so he had a bottle of all his fav. aerated drink, and we tasted each one of them...coca cola was what i like...he like it with thumbs up...SIL with limca...and we partied ...lolthanks for the recipe... p.s. he is going to invite his freinds over for a drink ;)thanks again for the happy moods!
