Turkey Fiesta

"My mom always made this after Thanksgiving, and I always looked forward to it. You can make it without the pimentos, but they make it more impressive visually and add a little punch. You could also use red bell pepper, I suppose. Anyway, I like to serve it over shell pasta, but it is also good on toast."

 1. This was just excellent. I wanted to add several ingredients to the mix but decided to make as is the first time. It had amazing flavor for so little ingredients. I did add a nice twist of fresh black pepper. I didn't use the full 8 ounces of frozen peas either since I didn't have that much. Probably 1/2 to 3/4 cups was all I used and that was plenty for us. Thanks for sharing one of your mom's recipes. I'll make this one again. :) Made for PRMR Holiday Special 09

I'm a grad student (in chemistry, which is really just glorified cooking) who loves cooking anything and everything. I've recently been discovering a love of baking. My husband mostly enjoys my experimenting, except when it involves spiciness!

I typically follow recipes and therefore don't have very many of my own. I'm trying to get more daring, though. Hopefully I'll have many excellent recipes to donate here, eventually.
