"I used to work at Tucanos, and this is the authentic recipe for their signature beverage. Try it as is, or try it with other fruit juices mixed in."

Questions & Replies

  1. How do you make the piranha!?!?

  2. Oh yes I love the Tucanos Brazilian Lemonade. The recipe calls for 4 cups limes, quartered. Would it be safe to say that that might be a total of approximately 10 limes? My favorite one they have is the Pineapple Brazilian Lemonade version. How can I incorporate the pineapple flavor? Thanks, Linda

  1. Wow! This was spot on! I made this in a tall Ninja and needed to hold for five seconds for it to really get to all the lemons. Strained quickly thru a small metal mesh strainer. I used a total of 10 lemons.

  2. I made this tonight for dinner. I cheated and used the juicer and included raspberries. It was awesome!!!

  3. I made this for Mother's Day and it was a hit! My boys think I am magic or something!

  4. Drinks like agua de limon and lemonade are regular requests in my house, and I really loved how much easier it is to blend the whole limes and strain the mixture, rather than squeeze a bazillion little fresh limes for juice like I usually do! I enjoyed it as-is, but I suspect that it would be just as good with less than 2 cups of sugar in it. I was a little worried that this would be bitter because of the lime peels, but nope, it came out just fine. This was a perfect refreshment for the recent "summer in spring" weather we've been having lately, thanks for posting! Made for PAC Spring 2012
