Smoothies are also on my long list of favorite yummy things and I am always looking for recipes to try. This one came from "DOLE". It is an especially yummy combination.
- 1 ripe banana, frozen
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained-reserve juice,cold or frozen
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄2 frozen strawberries
- Place everything, except reserved juice, in a blender and process until smooth.
- Add juice as necessary to achieve a smoothie consistency.
- Serve immediately.
This was wonderful! My current favorite smoothie! I used skim milk and had sort of a hard time getting all the liquid out of the pineapple. But that said I didn't need to add any extra liquid. This was sweet and thick and tasted like tropical ice cream. A wonderful find! Thanks!
