Good canned tomato soup is filled with vegetables and noodles. What a treat! Be sure to read the note following the recipe for a couple of variations.

Made this for New Kids on the Block tag game and for our lunch...quite interesting with basic ingredients. I enjoyed it and DH gave it 4 stars. I sauteed some onion, garlic, and added them to some steamed carrots, celery and some peas (steamed in microwave) as suggested. At the end I did add a little Velveeta for DH since he wasn't as excited. I definately will make this again for me and might trying adding some hamburger and spices for DH. Thank you.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, any flavor
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of tomato soup, undiluted
  • 34 cup cooked vegetables (sliced celery, carrots, peas, whatever)

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Do NOT drain.
  2. Add soup concentrate and vegetables. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve.
  3. NOTE: Sometime you might like to add a little Velveeta cheese to this soup, warming till it melts. Or maybe some cooked ground meat.
