This is one of my favorite quick and tasty side dishes when potatoes or plain butter noodles just doesn't sound good for some reason.
- Boil noodles in salted water 7 to 8 minutes.
- Drain noodles.
- Return to saucepan and add butter, cheese and tomato sauce.
- Heat over low until cheese melts.
This is a very creamy side dish, and is surprisingly good for as basic as this recipe is. 4 oz is approximately 6 slices of cheese (I used white american), which is just enough to cover a 12 oz package of cooked egg noodles.
