Tomato and Cheese Egg Noodles

This is one of my favorite quick and tasty side dishes when potatoes or plain butter noodles just doesn't sound good for some reason.

This is a very creamy side dish, and is surprisingly good for as basic as this recipe is. 4 oz is approximately 6 slices of cheese (I used white american), which is just enough to cover a 12 oz package of cooked egg noodles.

  1. Boil noodles in salted water 7 to 8 minutes.
  2. Drain noodles.
  3. Return to saucepan and add butter, cheese and tomato sauce.
  4. Heat over low until cheese melts.
