Toblerone Shortbread Cookies

These are really yummy and I make them every year for the Christmas holidays. I especially like them stored in the fridge and eaten cold but they're great at room temp too!

Loved these little gems!!! I only made 1/4 of the recipe, which still resulted in 17 cookies. When I looked for the Toblerone at our store, I found a fruit and nut version, but looking behind that type, I found the original version and was well, lol!! My 19 yo DS just got home and gobbled down about 5 of them. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for ZWT 7.

  1. Cream together butter and icing sugar, beat in vanilla and salt.
  2. Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each time.
  3. Stir in toblerone.
  4. Roll dough into 1” balls and place 2” apart on cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in icing sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
