These smoothies really go well with muffins. Just four ingredients and ice are all that's needed for these fruity treats that make a speedyafternoon pick-me-up. They can also be an instant breakfast on busy mornings. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 fruits. This came from Taste Of Home Simple & Delicious. I have not tried this, just posting for easy finding.
- 12 ounces fat free reduced sugar cherry vanilla yogurt
- 1 small banana, halved
- 3⁄4 cup fresh blueberries or 3⁄4 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 15 ice cubes
- In a blender, combine the yogurt, banana, blueberries and honey; cover and process until smooth. While processing, add a few ice cubes at a time until mixture achieves desired thickness.
- Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
