  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Cover broiler pan or cookie sheet with foil and spread asparagus in one layer.
  3. Spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for 12 minutes or less.
  5. Heat butter in a small skillet on low heat until lightly brown.
  6. Add vinegar and soy sauce.
  7. Pour over cooked asparagus.
