    TheDancingCook's Note:

An easy and quick way to liven up a can of butter beans. Also a good way to get kids to eat their beans. Goes great aside a meal of meat and mashed potatoes.

So simple and great tasting. I would of liked the sauce to be much thicker. I drained a small amount of liquid from the can. The next time I will drain most of the liquid from the can. hank you

I used fresh Fava beans. First I shelled them then blanched the beans for 1 minute to remove the membrane, placed them in a metal cup with the butter and splenda brown sugar, covered with foil and placed them on the BBQ away from the flame for about 10 minutes - they were heavenly! Served with BBQ potato & pepper packets,BBQ Bistro chicken and steamed new baby carrots. A meal fit or a queen Thanks for posting this simple, delicious recipe Dancing Cook
