This is one of my kids favorites. It gets them to drink their milk and they get a fruit too! Plus it is so quick and easy.
- Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until well blended. Serve in a tall glass with a straw.
- Sometimes I will add orange slices, bananas, or blueberries if I have some extras needing to be eaten. I also have made it a bit more like a smoothie by substituting 1 cup vanilla yogurt for one cup of milk. I have also used Splenda in place of the sugar with success.
I whipped this out tonight and my teen thought it was the best smoothie he has ever had and even asked me for the recipe...that's a first. The only change I made was I used frozen strawberries and eliminated the ice.
