"I found this recipe on the back of a bag of Peanut M&Ms that I bought for Christmas. I thought they looked yummy and would make a great addition to a cookie and candy platter for the holidays."

  • Combine the butter, confectioner’s sugar, peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • Melt unwrapped Dove miniatures in the microwave for 90 seconds or until smooth. Pour melted chocolate on top of the pressed peanut butter layer, and smooth with a spatula.
  • Place red and green M&M peanut chocolate candies over the layer of melted chocolate.
  • Refrigerate to set chocolate for approximately 1/2 hour. Cut and serve.

Questions & Replies

  1. These go so fast when I make them, so I am not completely certain. But I think it would depend on how soon in advance you make them. If I were to serve them more than a day after making them, then I would keep them refrigerated since the chocolate might get too soft if they were left out, and it might make them a bit too gooey to eat. I hope that answers your question.

  2. Should these be refrigerated? I won't be serving them till Christmas Eve so I want to know what the best way to preserve them is.

Reviews

  1. This is a very good dessert. I used milk chocolate not dark chocolate as my preference. The kids didn't save one for mom....I will be making these again real soon, thanks

This site used to be awesome. It was at the top of its game when it was called Recipezaar, but that was many years ago. The site was purchased by Scripps and belly-flopped into mediocrity. A few of the faithful members remained, hoping to wait out the storm of corporate nonsense. But alas, it never got better and just continued on its terminal path to nothingness. So most of the loyal members have vanished and made homes at better recipe sites.
