My daughters recipe. Nice alternative to just plain squash or turnip. Simple and tasty.

I made this this past thanksgiving.....I thought it was yummy!!!! Was good reheated the next day also.....Thanks Mom for passing it on!

Directions

  1. Cook turnip and squash until tender.
  2. Mash with butter, brown sugar (to taste) and pumpkin pie spice (1 1/2 tsp per 2 cups) Mix until smooth.
  3. Serve warm with any meal.
