We like this very much. Though it was a bit sweet. Made for bev tag.
This made the house smell great and tasted even better. I did cut the sugar in half, though, and may delete it all together next time, as our cider is plenty sweet already. Helped take the gloom off a dull, dreary day!
I made half a recipe for a small 1 qt. crockpot. My husband said it was "too strong" and my teen daughter said it "tastes like medicine." I also thought it had a very strong, bitter after taste. We love plain hot apple cider,so I may try this again with a substantial reduction in the spices.
