These are so delicious and tasty! I used half the amt with white chocolate chips or morsels and half semi-sweet chocolate, I melted them in 2 separate pans and then placed them in champagne glasses. Sharon 123, thank you so much for posting this, it is wonderful. Everybody should try them. DiScharf
- 2 (10 ounce) jars maraschino cherries, with stems drained
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

- Drain the cherries completely on paper towels. Place the chocolate chips in a heavy medium saucepan. Heat over low heat until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Don't let the chocolate get too hot! Remove from the heat and dip cherries into chocolate, swirling to coat completely. Place them on waxed a paperlined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until set and enjoy!
- Makes about 5 dozen.
