"A St. Pat's drink! Makes one highball or two shooters."

 

• Ready In: 3mins
• Ingredients: 5
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 ounce white tequila
• 1 ounce Irish whiskey
• 1⁄2 ounce melon liqueur
• 1⁄2 ounce orange juice
• 1⁄2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

directions

1. Stir all ingredients together.
2. Pour over ice in a highball glass, or serve in a shot glass as a shooter.
3. Garnish with a shamrock leaf.

Well, well, well... I just couldn't wait til St. Patty's Day to try this. I had a bartender friend make this for me yesterday (since me don't keep hard liquor in the house). All I can say is "WOW". Potent doesn't even begin to describe it! I had one (maybe two, can't really remember).<br/><br/>The flavor was unique and quite tasty. We are beer drinkers, but I'll have a shot of tequila if I'm in the mood while we are out. This does fill a highball glass (with ice), so basically is two shots. <br/><br/>Thank you for posting a new drink that I've never tasted before.<br/><br/>-Rosie<br/>Made for "Please Review My Recipe" tag game.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! This tastes better than you would think considering the large amount of alcohol - maybe something in the combination, like a Long Island Iced Tea. I agree with previous reviewers that you only need one of these "Dublin Iced Teas"!

Well I made 2 of these tonight 1 for me 1 for hubby. We both said "wow that's strong" I like my drinks a bit on the fruity side so i would have like a bit more on the melon and oj side. I served these over ice, so I think they would be better as a shooter. But they were still very good. Thanks for sharing Mikekey

This was a nice new shot! I don't see myself drinking it as a drink in a highball glass... definately more of a shot! a STRONG shot!! but i enjoyed the lemony taste too! thanks!!
