One of the things I dislike about making brownies and other bar cookies, is what I wind up doing to my pans! After a couple of uses, they are all cut up from cutting the bar. I have tried lining the pan with foil and removing them before cutting, but that didn't work well for 9x13 pans, so I came up with this and guess what? It works!
- Line the bottom of your pan, twice, with the foil.
- Spray with cooking spray of choice.
I always line my pans with foil when making bar cookies and brownies and use Pan Release, Professional Pan Coating (Better Than Pam Spray!) to grease it instead of cooking spray. Works like a charm!
This worked beautifully. Instead of spray I rubbed the foil with the butter wrapper. Thanks for sharing HH. Made for My 3 Chefs.
