  1. I just made this. I only made 4 cups and used havarti because that's what I have on hand. I only had to microwave for 40 seconds. Every microwave is different and I'm sure the number of cups you do at one time impacts cook time. I was expecting the salami to cup up like a bowl. Mine had a sort of cupped middle reminding me more of a delicious little saucer. Salami saucers!!! what's not to like? Thanks.

  2. Very yummy, and so easy! I made a small batch, just 3 slices of Oscar Meyer salami, and one slice of pepper jack cheese, divided up evenly over the 3 slices of salami. It only needed about 40 seconds for the reduced amount. I love how this works, with the salami making bowls! I got a kick out of watching it in the microwave. Quite greasy, but you can blot it with paper towels, and that helps.

  3. I made these with small diameter hard salami and a small chunk of cheddar. My hubby thought they were cute and tasty. They made a easy snack for him with crackers and mustard. Thank you for sharing your recipe! *reviewed for PAC Fall '07*

  4. My husband is a cheese and salami nut, and loves this as a late night snack. Thanks!
