This is what my husband makes that made me actually like trout, it is so easy and really very delicious, the green onion and cilantro give it an excellant flavor. For the serving size I will say 4 but obviously how ever many fish you have.
- sprinkle the inside of the trout with salt and pepper and stuff with cilantro and onion.
- drizzle with oil.
- grill till done, APPROX 3-5 minutes each side.
This was a very good dish. I honestly have never ate fish of any kind until needing to eat more healthy for health reasons. This dish took the fustration out of figuring out what to put on trout. Thank you so much for this recipe. This is a keeper.
Very good and simple to make. This is the first time I ever made fish on the grill which we enjoyed, but I think this recipe will work equally well on the broiler. We enjoyed the fish with a simple greek salad for a delicious summer meal with very little work. Thanks Donna for posting.
This is a good idea. I'd suggest a small bunch of cilantro, not a big one; maybe even half a bunch; and some lime mixed in with it. Youngest Daughter followed the recipe and did the work. There are some things we both need to learn about grilling fish, but this was a good beginner's recipe.
