Something I make quick to satisfy my tummy. I grind the flax so there is still some whole seeds. Low in fat if you omit the butter/margarine. Sometime a slice a hard boiled egg over it as well.
- 1⁄2 egg bagel (I use lenders)
- 1 -2 teaspoon butter (optional) or 1 -2 teaspoon margarine (optional)
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground flax seeds
- 2 -3 pinches garlic powder
- Toast bagel.
- If using butter or margarine, spread it on the toasted bagel.
- Sprinkle the flax & garlic over bagel.
