ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb bacon
- 2 lbs sauerkraut
- 1 (15 ounce) jar applesauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄4 cup dry white wine
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 6 pork loin chops, 1-inch thick
directions
- Dice bacon & saute until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Mix bacon, sauerkraut,applesauce, sugar, mustard, wine, & pepper.
- Saute chops on both sides until golden-brown.
- Place chops on top of bacon mixture in a casserole dish.
- Cover & bake at 350F for 1 1/2 hours.
