A fairly aromatic and moist cake. Feel free to use any kind of red wine. Quick and easy, no need to beat egg whites separately!

  1. Beat butter, vanilla extract and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and continue mixing (for quite a while until batter is very creamy).
  3. Mix flour and baking powder.
  4. Add red wine and flour alternately to dough.
  5. Add cinnamon, cocoa and chocolate chips.
  6. Bake at 175°C for about 60 minutes.
