  1. I use this face mask myself and LOVE it, however it is very important that you DO NOT USE canned pineapple. The canning process removes the enzyme bromelain from the fruit - bromelain is what makes the mask effective in removing dead cells and reducing inflammation.

  2. Charisma and Julia are both right. Bekah should've said it worked best for normal-dry skin. I agree with Charisma about a follow-up scrub and thanks for the tip from Julia. I also used it on my knees. It does work well, though.

  3. Great for use with extra dry skin problems, and also good for elbows and heels! :)

  4. I doubled this recipe and made this today(I bought a can of pineapple just for this the other day in the store!). What I didn't like about this mask is the smell of the olive oil. I was on pins and needles all through the time when this was on my face. Secondly, this mask was really very oily! I didn't like waiting for 15 minutes, but I decided to just to know what my skin and face would feel like after 15 minutes(I'm glad I did!). When I rinsed this after the 15 minute waiting period, my face felt extremely oily - just like as though I had dipped my face in a bowl filled with olive oil(Not a nice feeling). I had to wash and wash and keep washing! When I finally couldn't wash anymore, I used a little of my Himalaya Herbal Face scrub that I use twice a week on my face. I scrubbed it all over my face, really well, and then washed off. Now, my skin felt "shiny", "clean", "SOFT" and "fresh"! So, what I really feel is, one really has to follow this mask with a scrub. Another thing that I felt is this mask is best for those who have dry skin and worst for those who have oily skin. This isn't one of my favourites, but I've anyways made some and plan to give it away to someone I know with dry skin.
