an excellent appetizer for a party


  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in lard as for pastry.
  3. Add milk and sour cream -- add more milk if mixture is too dry.
  4. Roll out on floured board. Cut peeled and cooked sausage lengthwise into desired size.
  5. Place along the edge of the pastry and roll dough 1 1/2 times around sausage.
  6. Seal edges of dough.
  7. Continue until all the dough is used up.
  8. Cut into 2 inch pieces.
  9. Bake 400F til brown - 20 mins approx.
