  1. Beat together first 4 ingredients.
  2. Add flour sifted with soda, cream of tartar and salt.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add nuts.
  5. Make long rolls and cut into small pieces.
  6. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes (depending on how cruncy you like your cookies).
