This was good. I made a half recipe for DH and myself tonight with freshly picked beans and spearmint from the garden. It's a simple recipe, the cooking didn't take as long as the recipe suggested and it had just a little bite to it with the red pepper flakes which DH really enjoyed. Next time I will use less lemon juice since I found it a little tart and I may use more of the zest to still get the lemon flavor without the actual tartness. Overall it is a very nice way to prepare fresh green beans and I will make it again.
