Nutty Broccoli

"Tender broccoli and crunchy pecans YUMMY!! I got this recipe from Taste of Homes Simple and Delicious magazine."

• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1 (16 ounce) package frozen broccoli, thawed
• 1⁄2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
• 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped
• 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
• 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper

directions

1. Place broccoli in a large microwave safe bowl. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over broccoli.
2. Cover and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes or until tender.

This was ok...I didn't like that the broccoli was a little mushy and the cheese didn't melt like a creamy sauce. It could be my affliction with textures but this was not for me. Sorry! Made for Spring PAC 2014.
