"I make this as a topping for sweetpotatoes or winter squash but you could spread it on muffins or cornbread if you wanted to."

  1. I went overboard buying fresh sweetcorn and wanted to experiment with various spreads to go on it... DH rated this 3 and I rated it 4 so we gave it the higher of the two ratings to account for the differences in personal taste. I mixed the butter and freshly grated nutmeg and the smell was wonderful. I put the semi melted butter in to paper patty cases, enough for a single serve and once it was set gently peeled off the paper to serve and topped them with chives. We had this on fresh sweetcorn and I liked it a lot. Please see my rating system: somthing different for sweetcorn and I'm certain that it's wonderful on sweet potatoes too. Thanks!
