This is from another recipe of mine, but I thought I'd post it separately as I love it with apples. I don't like apples! I'll eat apples with this, LOL! Would be good with carrots too, I think.
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
- Mix all ingredients. Stores well in the fridge, but may thin after awhile.
- Use dip with fruit or vegetables.
Unusual, but quite good. I served this with carrots and apples. I liked it better with the apples; DH liked it better with the carrots.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars because it wasn't a favorite but a few really liked it. I made 5 different dips for my vegetable tray at a party at my home. I had two that really enjoyed it. I thought it was very good.
A great dip, & yes, it goes well with carrots, as well as celery, jicama, & other veggies! I did a little switch or two, though, using chunky peanut butter as well as Dijon honey mustard! Great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed for Newest Zaar Tag, 08A, cooking game]
