Reviews

  1. This might be my new favorite dessert. It was VERY rich and had a creamy texture. I made mine with praline (candied) pecans and it definitely the way to go.

  2. This was an easy recipe to prepare and it was enjoyed by all. Other "Neiman Marcus" recipes posted on this site use different cake mixes and I look forward to trying a different one at a later date. Thanks for posting!

  3. This cake was very easy to prepare and was a big hit at our "game night" this evening. Everyone liked it and I will be making it again!! Thanks Kitten, you are queen of food.com!

  4. I made this recently as I always love your recipes, and it was good, but I felt it was way too sweet. It must have been the topping plus chocolate chips, I'm really not sure how to fix that problem if I make it again. Otherwise I liked it though...

Tweaks

  1. Delicious recipe! I used a devil food's cake mix instead of just chocolate. It was so rich and good. I only put chopped pecans on half of the cake since others gathering with us for Thanksgiving don't like the nuts. I served this cake at 2 different gatherings. Was good even 2 days later!! Thanks for the posting.
