All I have to say is, you will never buy pasta sauce again after you try this.


  1. In a large bowl crush whole tomatoes with your hands only.
  2. In a pot large enough to hold all ingredients, pour in enough olive oil to coat the bottom.
  3. Add sliced garlic and sautee until almost turning golden.
  4. Add tomatoes with their juices and tomato sauce.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce to a simmer.
  7. Add basil before serving.
