  1. Beat Eggs milk and liquid shortening. In a Medium sized bowl combined all dry ingredients. Come Egg mixture with dry ingredients. Add nuts if desired.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes.

I used fresh mulberrys they make it taste more like summer

This is a terrible recipe, no offense. Too much baking soda. Much too salty. I'd suggest adding only 1-2 tsps baking soda.
