    This is an old cocktail recipe named after something you should google to find out more info about. I ran across the cocktail twice in books, then looked it up to see if it was real. It is, and it is good. I use Absinthe in it.

    • 2 ounces gin
    • 1 ½ ounces orange juice
    • 2 dashes grenadine
    • 2 dashes Pernod or 2 dashes absinthe
    • orange rind twists

    Directions:

      Shake the gin, orange juice, grenadine, and Pernod very well with ice.

      Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

      Garnish with orange peel.
