This was my favorite as a kid growing up. My mom gave me the recipe recently and I wanted to post it so it's not lost again!
- Brown the hamburger.
- Add the soup and mustard.
- Cook 10-15 minute.
- Place mix on buns.
I grew up with recipe as well. We use a pound of lean ground beef, a can of Campbell's vegetarian vegetable soup with ABC noodles, a can of tomato sauce, some Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. When cooked, we put some on the lower half of a hamburger bun and top with a slice of American cheese then broil in the oven until the cheese melts. We replace the top half of the bun and eat it up!
I thought it was pretty good, and my wife said delicious! The recipe is simple, but the taste says complex. Thanks for posting this.
