ingredients
- 709.77 ml cooked chicken breasts, diced
- 4 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 226.79 g can water chestnuts, drained and diced
- 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
- 236.59 ml seedless grapes, halved
- 177.44 ml mayonnaise
- 14.79 ml fresh parsley, minced
- 29.58 ml green onions, minced
- 4.92 ml lemon juice
- 1.23 ml ground ginger
- 0.25 ml Worcestershire sauce
directions
- Combine chicken, bacon, water chestnuts, celery and grapes in a large bowl.
- In small bowl, whisk remaining ingredients together.
- Combine with chicken mixture, using as much or as little mayonnaise needed to moisten to your taste.
- If you like a creamier salad, add a little more mayonnaise.
- Chill well and stir before serving.

Very good chicken salad! I really enjoyed the blend of flavors. I used a grilled chicken breast, and sized down to 1 serving, however doubled the quantity of grapes. I think next time I will add a little black pepper, and a chopped pecans. Otherwise terrific recipe! Thank you for sharing Deja A! Made for 2009 Spring PAC

I love everything about food--cooking, eating, even grocery shopping, so I guess that would qualify me as a foodie! I love to read cookbooks and watch Food TV for inspiration, but mostly I just cook without recipes. There is nothing that I like better than plying my family and friends with a home-cooked meal. Food is love.
