Milk Mask

"This is a great facial mask and so cheap to make! (The "cook" time is the actual time to leave it on your face). A friend passed this on to me a few years ago, but I'm not sure where she got it from."

  1. Sorry I have to rate this so low, but I really think your proportions are way off. I went ahead and made the recipe as stated, but it was just so watery that there was no way you could even consider it a mask. Maybe with 1/4 TEASPOON water? Anyway, what I ended up doing was putting some milk powder in a dish and adding enough of the liquid to make a mask-like consistancy. It did make my skin feel nice and tight and soft, although I did feel it was a tad drying (of course, my skin is fairly dry to begin with). But, the proportions are definitely incorrect, IMO. Plus, 1/4 cup of a mask for 1 application that just covers your face and neck? It's just too much water. Sorry.
