Martha Stewart Steak Marinade

"This is an excellent marinade from Martha Stewart. It is my go-to marinade for steaks. It sounded like a lot of garlic the first time I made it but I'm glad I kept the 4 cloves!"

  1. This is an excellent marinade. I ran out of time so this is what I did. I mixed the marinade in an oblong glass pan. Then I put it into the microwave a couple of minutes to get it hot. Then I put my frozen steaks in the marinade. I left them for about 10 minutes and then turned them over. Three times after that I turned the meat after microwaving the meat in the marinade for 5 minutes each time at power 30%. The I cooked them on my grill pan until medium rare. They wre wonderful. So if you don't have time to marinade for hours...this is a short cut. BTW I think this would be a good marinade for chicken as well. 2. I did exactly as directed. The steak was in the marinade at least 5 hours. I will have to try overnight. But I didn't have time. We loved the taste. Thanks Funfetti :) Made for PAC Spring 2010 http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=327498&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
