A creamy delicious garlic and oil. The butter gives it a velvety taste. Enjoy!!
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (rienzi is a good bet)
- In a saucepan on medium heat, add garlic and butter, stir constantly, don't let the garlic burn.
- When the butter is melted, add the oil and stir. when the oil is heated remove from the heat and add cheese and basil.
- Serve with your favorite pasta immediately.
Delicious, simple and short list of ingredients. Used all organic ingredients except the olive oil. Made this for my 4 yr old daughter (who loves garlic) and i for dinner. We used saffron ribbon pasta and didnt want a heavy sauce to weigh it down. This was perfect. I did add a splash of crushed red pepper to mine only because I love red pepper but the recipe definitly did not need it. Very nice, fresh taste that didnt leave you feeling overstuffed but did satisfy. Thanks for sharing.
