This recipe came from Studio 5 - who could resist a smoothie with pistachio pudding in it?
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tablespoon instant pistachio pudding mix, powder
- 1 drop green food coloring
- Combine all ingredients in a shaking container, cover tightly and shake (may also be stirred with a spoon or whisked). NOTE: May be made with just milk, but consistency will be runnier.
Made this smoothie but with one amount change & one addition ~ I doubled the amount of pudding mix & added a frozen banana, the latter for a bit of frosty chill that I like in my smoothies! That also made this weird looking, great tasting smoothie a bit thicker as well! Very nice! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Cookbook Tag]
This was so easy and fun to sip while watching green beer drinkers on the news at 7AM on St Paddy's Day. I used Greek yogurt and sugar-free pudding mix. Good morning protein boost. Thanks for posting Ceezie. Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2011.
