Low-Cal No-Egg Homemade Banana Pudding

"This tastes to me like banana cream pie. I use raw honey to sweeten to get the nutrients of the bee pollen, but you can use whatever. Of course, since there's no egg or gelatin in it, it's a bit thin, but if that doesn't bother you, this is a great (and quick) custard-like dessert!"

directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a blender.
  • Add more or less of certain ingredients to adjust to your tastes. I like to serve this in goblets with a couple blueberries on top or dark chocolate drizzled over the top.

I recently graduated from college and even more recently married my life's love. So "About Me" is "About We." We always try to eat healthy, though we allow ourselves some indulgences. We avoid corn syrup, alcohol (which we dislike the taste of), and pop. I am also a notorious substitions-maker: local honey for sugar, homemade applesauce for vegetable oil, and I often entirely omit salt, meat, or anything I don't happen to have on hand. Essentially, I meddle with recipes to a fault. We are dreadfully tight with our money, befitting newlyweds, so we only go to the store every other week and have to make things stretch until then. Other info: We like to take walks, read the Bible together, travel, play board games, visit parks, read books, and cook together. I also scrapbook, and we both love cats (hence the pic).
