  1. To sprout Quinoa: cover with water using 2 cups water to 1 cup Quinoa. Soak for 12 hours. Use running water and place the grains in a sprouting jar [has screen or cheese cloth lid] Rinse the seeds twice a day. Lay the jar sideways to give room to grow. Cover jar with a dark cloth loosely so air can move through. Grain is soft when finished and best used in 2 to 3 days.
  2. Crackers:.
  3. Place all in a juicer that has no screen. Catch the puree in a bowl. Mix your favorite herbs and spices in plus salt to taste. Example vegetable salt.
  4. Spread mix thinly onto a piece of parchment paper that fits your food dryer tray. Dehydrate the cracker mix for approximately 12 hours at 110°F Store in air tight container. IF your oven goes that low you can use it. Use oven thermometer to be sure.

WOW...darn good :)-I have had an interest in "raw/live" food for a while and this gem caught my eye...I think I had a reluctance to make it for a little while because I use my juicer daily for veggie juice and was afraid to muck it with nut and grain gunk because my husband likes his juice just so...I saw some demos on YouTube for raw crackers where a food processor was used and decided that was the way to go for me...I did the soaking and sprouting as suggested and pureed the mix in the processor added sea salt, mixed coarse pepper, garlic,onion & chipotle powders and a 'dash of "Dash" ' :)...dried on parchment in my DE-HIGH for about 10 hours...GREAT yummy nutty versatile as a flat bread thingy...with dip or new favorite snack and the best recipe on Zaar for me yet... THANKS FOR SHARING Dr. House...a MUST TRY for all!!!:) {{{OH,...side-note for some reason the red quinoa sprouted much more for me than the white...dunno why but will see what happens with further batches...1st time with the "KEEN-WA" for me...and this seems to be my new favorite hobby/past-time..(sprouts) :) }}} YUMMMMMM :)

I have been looking for this recipe for ages.... Thankyou for posting it :).... These are a very tasty cracker you can use with dips or just as a snack on their own.... and the good thing is they are Healthy...The batch dissapeared within a couple of hours, and even my kids liked them :)...definately going to become a staple in my pantry for snacks.... thanks again :)
