  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package directions to al dente; drain and return to pan to keep warm.
  2. Toss pasta with butter, olive oil, pepper, and salt.
  3. Place pasta in individual plates.
  4. Place smoked salmon chunks in an attractive design on top of the pasta.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

I had a small chunk of smoked salamon and wanted to make something quick for dinner, so I decided to try this recipe. I made a small change, though, and used alfredo sauce. It was quick, easy and wonderful. Thanks

I made this for lunch today, using bavette in place of the linguine. I like smoked salmon to be lightly cooked through when served with pasta, so I heated the sauce ingredients, added the smoked salmon, and tossed this mixture through the cooked pasta. The butter and oil gave the pasta a lovely texture. This is a great dish for anyone looking for a dish that requires few ingredients, and is quick and easy to make. Don't skimp on the salt & pepper!
